Thus, when people discuss drugs pulled from the market, that does not mean they have no pharmaceutical benefits or they are more harmful than the disease. Some of these drugs have re-entered the market after the unevaluated-risks have been accessed. Of course, there are examples of the FDA showing little competence (Phen-Phen for one), but these are rare.If anything, the FDA standards are too strong.
