The bill doesn't address tort reform. It doesn't address prescription costs (and why we pay multiplier times more than other nations). All it does is create a government program with the same problems the existing system has. It's not even 'reform'.?
I voted for Obama and I am a Nascar fan. People who watch any kind of racing for wrecks is just in my opinion not real fans. I watch Nascar for the competition. You cant find any other major racing that offers that kind of competition vs entertainment. If you watch any other racing primarily F-1 you know who is going to win before the race is over. Sure it can be kinda like that in Nascar at times but its not every single race day in day out. With F-1 its primarily who can tune the computer the best. With Nascar its who can build the better car and drive the car better, have a better setup, mileage, etc who wins. I have a lot of complaints about how nascar has setup the chase and other minor things but when it comes to the actual racing there is no other sport like it. And yes its a sport. I don't understand what these people saying omg driving in circles is so easy to do. Look at the "road course ringers" If an oval track is immensely easier than road course racing then why are they not better at ovals as well? Shouldn't these road course racers come to ovals and dominate as well since its so much easier? Try sitting in a car for hours on end with a fire suit on when its hot as hell in the car. If you are not in shape your not going to be able to make it. Now a comment about the chart. That is not an accurate assessment of the overall Nascar fan. Sure there are some idiots who watch just for wrecks or whatever else but there are tons of football fans watching and waiting for people to get decapitated or baseball fans watching to see some one hopefully get hit in the nuts with a ball. Why do a lot of men watch women's tennis? my guess is the off chance of a nipple slip passing the censors. Whatever sport or entertainment you watch I am sure there are a lot of idiots who also watch it for reasons that go against why you watch it. A real race fan be it Nascar, F-1 or any other racing doesn't watch for wrecks. They watch for close competition. They watch to see Yes Athletes put themselves and their cars to the limits against equal or near equal rivals. |

Let's put it simply as this: Ford build so many Explorers and F-150 (which is the number 1 selling vehicle in the world) and made so much money of them (Explorer alone made Ford over 200 billion dollars), and last so long that it's only natural they get dumped now. Do you see any Chevy's get dumped? I do. In junkyards. Also, Ford was a big winner in the Cash-for-clunker scheme: Focus, Escape, and F-150 were top sellers.

Never underestimate the power of the Free Market. Why would I go through the trouble (and believe me, it is trouble) of growing my own ***** when I could go to a store down the street, buy what I wanted, and go home and smoke it without having to be bothered with it? I won't deny that there will still be a FEW people making it - but it won't be near what it is today. Also - I wanted to throw in a little tidbit of information where Judge Gray should have hit on (he didn't cite it with fact and could have EASILY won this point). To domestically reduce the consumption of Cocaine by 1%, it would cost around $240 million dollars to arrest, prosecute, and incarcerate drug dealers and their agents.By comparison, it would cost around $34 million to reduce the exact same amount (1%) through treatment facilities and programs for users.("Controlling Cocaine: Supply vs. Demand programs," C. Peter Rydell and Susan S. Everingham)I think its quite obvious that without trying to enforce our ridiculous policy via the Drug War - it would make more sense to simply legalize it and then offer treatment to those who need/want it.

Firefox "riddled with security holes and the innovation playing field seems to have leveled out some."This sounds like Windows marketing spiel. Buried. |
